For decades these cabins were known as Blue Moon Resort — a beloved spot with a long memory along this sandy stretch of Lake Huron. In 2026 they began their next life as Sunrise Retreat Cabins, under new ownership and an extensive top-to-bottom renovation.

Every cabin has been reimagined with light wood, painted panelling, hand-glazed tile, woven leather, brass, and linen — a calm, beach-inspired language meant to feel like exhaling. New beds, new bathrooms, new kitchenettes. Same Great Lake, same soft sand underfoot.
